    Description

    This is an authentic Japanese used netted 2+1/4 inch (size slightly varies)  tall glass fishing net float ball. It was found in a fishing gear pile on the west coast of Japan. There is some tar and dirt on this float and the net. Japanese fisherman would do this to protect the float from breakage or make the float more visible but the tar would fall off the floats after awhile. There are some chips from the edges of the sealing button but no cracks to the float! It has the original net on it! These type floats would be tied to the edge of a fishing net to catch salmon and other fish. This is a very neat float the way it is or clean it up. It would be a great addition to a collection of floats or maritime items!
