    Description

    Five color Coverlet made in 1876 for the Centennial International Exposition in Philadelphia
    Blanket shows the Memorial Hall Gallery, two patriotic eagles above is statue of Lady Columbia.  She is positioned between two American flags.
    At the top are the words CENTENNIAL each facing in the opposite direction
    Along the bottom are the words MEMORIAL HALL
    Along the side is the date 1776-1876 - Measures 80" x 76"
    Condition - There are some areas of thread loss SEE PHOTOS
    Several places I see some stains; might be able to remove PHOTOS- Colors still bright
