Rare 1920s Wood Advertising Dovetailed Eyeglass Spectacle Shipping Box featuring Schumacher & Foreman Opticians of 36 W. Lexington Street, Baltimore, MD. The box has 3 two Cent Stamps and what looks to be a postmark from Baltimore with Date of Sept 15, 192?(can’t quite make out the last digit, 0, 4 or 6 maybe). The box measures 5 5/8”x 2 5/8”x 1.5” and has a sliding top with the Optician Office embossed. Conditionally, the box has nice aged patina and is in great shape; as is the advertising, stamps and ease of slide to the lid.
