Pack of 2 Modular 66 Punch Down Block - Terminating Block for Data Network Wiring – White
A 66 wiring block is an older but still widely used style telephone distribution panel. It is used to distribute incoming phone lines to all the phone jacks in your home. If you don't have a 110 block you may have a 66 block in your home. Used in equipment rooms and wiring closets to connect telephone systems, PBX systems, and other low-speed terminal equipment.
Phone companies can charge a monthly inside wire maintenance fee if you want them to repair any issues that may occur with the phone wires inside your home or office - use this block. If you learn to maintain your phone system you can save a decent amount of money.
Connect voice and data network wiring. Cross-connect other telephone punch-down cabling easily with our punch-down block. These 66 blocks come with a mounting bracket and have 4 columns of 50 pins making them perfect for punching down a 25 pair of cables.
Fast and easy to install even for non-installers. All you need is a punch-down tool and you are good to go. The modular wiring blocks are great for use from landline phone networks, to connecting to PBS systems, to terminating a lot of wires for a lighted walkway, or for any similar applications.
When mounting a 66 block first mount the bracket and put a level on the top to make sure it lines up with everything else on the back panel to give it a clean and squared appearance. Just snap the 66-type block onto the mounting bracket and it's is ready to wiring!
