Porsche introduced the first-generation Cayenne (called "955" internally) for the 2003 model year, and though it was initially controversial, the model quickly became the firm's best seller. This Cayenne is a tribute build to the models that competed in the Transsyberia Rally — a challenging off-road event that ran over 4,500 miles from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar.
Power comes from a 3.2-liter DOHC V6, rated at 247 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels through a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
