Description

Thisis a 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS, finished in black with a black interior.
Equipment includes 19-Inch aftermarket wheels from Victor Equipment, a rear spoiler, a sunroof, bi-xenon headlights with washers, heated front seats, front and rear park assist, a Bose surround sound system, PCM with navigation module, and more as detailed below.
The GTS features several upgrades over the standard Cayenne S including an additional 20 horsepower, a lower ride height, a firmer suspension with PASM, and 21-inch wheels. GTS visual enhancements include the Cayenne Turbo front fascia, a lower body kit, and wider wheel arches.
The Cayenne was a controversial addition to the Porsche lineup but also an immediately successful one. To capitalize on that success, Porsche quickly added additional models, with the GTS being the fourth Cayenne variant, joining the base, S, and Turbo models. For 2009, the Cayenne also received an updated version of the Porsche Communication Management, which integrates a navigation system, stereo, and phone.
Power comes from a 4.8-liter V8, rated at 405 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Output is directed to all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Known Flaws
This is a German vehicle that is over 12 years old and has over 200k miles and has been used as a daily driver. It is not in perfect condition, expect many flaws. It is being replaced with a minivan due to family needs. Throughout the current owner's 3 years of ownership the vehicle has had major repairs on the PDCC system due to hose blowouts but otherwise has only required normal maintenance. This vehicle may not be very expensive to purchase, but the maintenance costs are consistent with its’ ,925 original price.
The Carfax history report lists this vehicle as having been previously repossessed and sold at auction before the current owner took possession.
Many paint flaws all over the body.
Missing trim pieces on passenger side rear quarter
Misalignment of front bumper on drivers side
Cloudy headlights
Oil Drips (see photo of 18 months’ worth of drips in parking spot)
Minor curb rash on the wheels
Interior trim pieces missing on steering wheel and rear console
Headliner is drooping in some areas, re-glued above driver’s door
Alcantara seats are worn consistent with age and mileage
Intermittent check engine light related to catalytic converters. Note that this will make it difficult to register in a location that has emissions checks.
Occasional 4-wheel drive fault which prevents shifting into low range. Always clears upon restart.
Missing rocker panel trim at 3 locations
Various scuffs on the interior at various locations
Strange creaking noise in passenger rear when going over bumps
Consumes roughly 1 quart of oil every 5000 miles
Very rare hard-shift condition (roughly once per 10,000 miles)
PDCC pump is loud but normal for vehicles with this option
PCM screen has vertical green line in cold weather
Instrument panel screen sometimes loses definition
