  • Condition: an antique set of 3 curtain rod holders or curtain holdbacks. They are Victorian circa about 1850. I'm not sure if these were intended to hold up a curtain rod or tie curtains back. They measure about 12" long. They are brass with green glass lily flowers. One of the glass shades does have a tiny chip out of it. The other 2 are good. The brass goes have green spots and patina. Very tough set to find. Especially in the green color. They each have the RW Winfield mark.

    Description

    Up for consideration today is
    an antique set of 3 curtain rod holders or curtain holdbacks. They are Victorian circa about 1850.  I'm not sure if these were intended to hold up a curtain rod or tie curtains back.  They measure about 12" long.  They are brass with green glass lily flowers.  One of the glass shades does have a tiny chip out of it (see last picture).  The other 2 are good.  The brass does have green spots and patina.  Very tough set to find.  Especially in the green color. They each have the RW Winfield mark.  The glass shade are held in the brass and i'm unsure how to remove them (i didn't want to break anything) so they will ship just as shown.
