OFFERED ARE 4 VERY RARE SOUTH CAROLINA RAILROAD COMPANY 2 DOLLAR VALUE FARE TICKETS.  THESE WERE ISSUED AFTER THE CIVIL WAR AS IT SHOWS A DATE OF JULY 1, 1873.  THE TEXT BELOW THE MIDDLE PICTURE SAYS, "GOOD FOR THE FARE OF TWO PASSENGERS, TWENTY FIVE MILES.  CHARLESTON, JULY 1ST, 1873."  THESE ARE VERY FRAGILE - ALMOST LIKE TOILET PAPER.  YOU WILL NOTE THERE ARE SOME WITH HOLE PUNCHES THAT ARE QUITE EVIDENT IN VARIOUS SPOTS, WHICH WOULD SHOW THAT THE BILL HAD BEEN USED AND THAT WAS THEIR CANCELLATION MARK.  PLEASE SEE PICTURES FOR CONDITION.
This is from a smoke free home.  Please ask any questions prior to bidding so there is no buyers remorse.  Payment is due within 3 days of close of auction.  We ship UPS as we have had issues with the post office.  We do our best to give you a reasonable cost on the shipping/insurance since the post office has raised their rates ridiculously, and we're not trying to make a profit on the shipping.  If there is a substantial overage, we will refund to you.
