Air Lux Yarn by Katia; Now on Clearance

This yarn has recently been discontinued, so it is now time to put it on clearance.  Now 40% off.
Fil Katia is a premier yarn producer from Spain, and they produce a wide array of discriminating fashion yarns.  Air Lux is one my all time favorites in their menu.  This lovely yarn is produces in a chainette construction so that it is a little bit loftier than typical.  The fiber is mostly Viscose so it is safe for many wool sensitive folks.  A word of warning: always use hand lotion before working with this yarn as it will snag on roug
h spots, and use a slightly blunt needle.  Sharp needles can poke through the loose tubular construction of this yarn.  I assure you that the special handling needed for this yarn is well worth it.  The shimmer of the fibers is stunning.
This yarn is composed of 70% Viscose and 30% Extrafine Merino Wool.  Each 50 gram ball has a very generous 328 yards.
The recommended stitch gauge is as follows:
Knitting Gauge:  27 stitches over 4 inches on US size 4-5 needles
Crochet Gauge:  21-32 SC over 4 inches on size E4-F5 hook
