ca 80-90 A.D.
Vima Takto was long known as “the nameless king” because his coins only had the legend, “The King of Kings, Great Savior”.
A discovery of an inscription in the Bactrian language gave clues to this king’s name.
Kushan emperor from about 80-90 A.D., his empire ranged from northeastern India and Bactria (eastern Iran) towards China.
