    Description

    I am not sure what these were used for, but they are a matched pair of probably Cast Iron open filigree architectural pieces of some sort. One is gray, the other a brass gold color but the gray one shows some gold color wear on the back. The centers have an opening with a lip, so you could put a mirror inside; or perhaps for curtain tie-backs, just not sure. They each have green and red paint and each measure just about 7.75 inches across; the opening in the center is about 3.75 inches - if you put a mirror or painting it would sit on the lip. In very nice shape, some dirt and some white paint or plaster, but I didn't touch them and left them as found. They are heavy and weigh about 11 ounces each. Very nicely made with fleur-de-lis accents. A matched set with lots of possibilities for uses, so ask me any questions and look at my pictures.
