    Description

I am sell this set of 4 hooks together. My first thought was that these came from a railroad train and were used as part of a shelf that you could hang your coat, hat and personal items from. I have sold some railroad items in the past. These 4 matching hooks all have PAT APPLD FOR on the hook. (See pictures.) There are also 2 circular holes in each of these that I thought may have held a rod the length of the shelf that maybe clothing or hats could be put on top so they wouldn't fall off. I also thought it may be part of a Victorian Hall tree closet. If anyone would like to enlighten me I always welcome insight! These hooks are black with some of the finish chipped off. You can see condition in the photos. Also, on the side opposite marked PAT APPLD FOR is a 5 dot pattern that resembles a flower to me. The hole at the end would accept a 3/4" rod and the other hole above the hooks would accept 1/2" rod.
It is 7" from the back to the front. Top to bottom is 4 1/4".
