Athens Tetradrachm - 454 to 404 BC - 17.20g - Extra Fine
Extra Fine - Really well-struck on a wide flan, with nice centring and very sharp details on obverse and reverse. Obverse very sharp, with only tiny traces of wear and featuring a good section of Athena's crest. However, there is a small amount of oxidised build-up around Athena's nose. Reverse has good eye-appeal, with a beautiful example of the Athenian owl. All details are sharp, well-struck, with tiny wear only on the very highest points.A small section of the tail and the 'E' in Athens are missing. Beautiful example of its type at a good price.
