HISTORY: Joseph Sargent founded a hardware company in 1857 in New Haven, CT. He moved location in 1864 & changed the name to Sargent & Company as you see on the back of this piece!

I will include solid brass round head matching wood screws( 3/4” long)to mount this, you may need wall anchors depending what you mount this to, the wood screws I provide can go directly into a wood door
I restored this, it was covered in many layers of paint, I was able to keep the gorgeous patina including nicks, brown & reddish highlights in the brass. Also I installed solid brass(never rust) new screws & washers on the back, the old screws were totally rusted & loose. The piece is now rock solid & strong!
Originally probably used for hats on the top hook & coats on the lower hook
I guarantee you will never find anything like this in a Big Box store especially with the incredible patina
