This Preset 1/4" torque driver can be compared to Snap on part number QDRIVER3P that lists for 7.50. They are fully adjustable so you can set it to the torque rating that you need. It comes with a wrench to use to do that. Simply remove the end cap and set it from 10-100 in oz. It's preferable to have a "tester" or known torque setting to set it up.
This tool is made for repeatability after setting up.
These are brand new so I'm not familiar with them. I thought this is something that I need for work so I bought a few of them. I took photos of the manual so you can see how to set it up. The end cap does not screw off. You need to pry it up and off to make adjustments.
I've had and used CDI tools at work so I know they are high quality, well built precision tools. This thing fits your hand perfectly and is balanced.
The 1/4" female bit holder is magnetized to securely hold the bit in place. Also noted is that the end cap is designed for pushing with your palm while using a wrench to turn the flats on the bolster if needed.
Remember, this is a Snap-on company so you know it's all about high quality!
