    EARLY SCOTTISH DIRK WITH SCABBARD CIRCA 1500
    It is a 16th century early type of Scottish dirk. He is the successor to the Scottish ballock daggers and saucepan. In the 18th century it was in service with the British Army during the Jacobite Uprising.
