Description

This Journal is appox. 8" x 6" with 2 signatures for a total of about 120pages counting front and back (some have a few more pages).  It is a soft cover made from old file folder, re-enforced with tyvek and covered heavy cloth that I have stitched with a zig zag pattern.  The front fabric is covered with a beautiful vintage copy of an advertisment, New and vintage lace pieces,   Eyelets secure the ribbon closure on the front and back covers.  Inside the front and back cover there is lace pockets.  The spine is bound with a 3 hole stitched method.   I used an assortment of the following papers in this journal:  parchment paper, vellum, 20# copy paper, 65# designer card stock, ledger paper, as well as assorted other designer papers, vintage book pages (currently using "My friend Flicka" (circa 1940), "The General" (1940's) and "The Farm Journal Friendly Food Gifts from your kitchen, (1978 edition) .  Many pages are edged with lace.  There are also 2 paper bag pockets.   I have filled this journal with lots of pockets, journaling cards, hidden journaling corners, tuck and belly bands that open for more writhing space, envelopes. and more.  Clipped on the center spine is a large ribbon and lace tassel and a bangle made using an assortment of new and vintage charms and beads   All are removeable.  There are hidden paper clips as well as a small coffee dyed parchment paper envelopes.  This journal also will come with an assortment of addition embellishments for you to explore and use as you wish.

None of my journals are the exact same.  Nor are any two tassels or charm dangles identical.  Each is a one of a kind.  The Photos are actual pages of this book, but only a sampling of all of the pages.
