KNIFE 1: (Tan-colored handle Bowie knife)
I've been collecting knives for 45 years. Hands-down, this is one of the finest knives I've ever owned. I purchased this piece many years ago and am yet to find one as beautiful. Being a one-of-a-kind piece, this is as rare as the materials it's composed of. Here are some more details:
- Maker/Model: Steven Hooten - "Hoot" Custom Cutter
- Condition: Brand new, vintage condition. Stored as new, it still has its original razor-sharp edge on it!
- Blade length: 10 in.
- Overall length: approx. 14.5 in.
- Blade material: 440 stainless steel w/ beautiful mirror-finish
- Handle material: vintage genuine rare bone. This coffin handle is the focal point of this exquisite piece.
- Hilt material: genuine top-notch brass
- Features a full, solid tang (.4 CM / 4 MM)
- Comes equipped with a fitting African-inspired custom leather sheath

KNIFE 2: (Dark brown-colored handle Bowie knife). The buyer shall receive all items pictured with this knife,
WHICH HAS BEEN APPRAISED BY HERITAGE AUCTION HOUSE AT CLOSE TO 00 ALONE!
This knife is just one item of a collection of memorabilia which belonged to the late Lone Ranger actor, John Hart. All items were auctioned by the Harts' agent, Mick Lafever. Hart was an accredited actor, whose career spanned many years. Some of his notable work includes appearances in: "Rawhide" (w/ Clint Eastwood) and "The Last of the Mohicans". He starred as the Lone Ranger and even made an appearance as the character on "The Greatest American Hero" and "Happy Days".
ITEM 1 - Custom-made Bowie Knife (1 of 1, THERE IS NOT ANOTHER ONE OF THESE IN EXISTENCE TODAY)
- Handmade, designed by, and owned by the Lone Ranger (John Hart)
- Blade Length: 10"; overall length: 14.75"
- Materials used: wood (handle), stainless steel (blade), brass (hilt and pins). Some of the best steel money can buy was invested in this knife.
- Features a solid, full tang (5mm thick), and a nice coffin handle
- Condition: Stored as new, this knife still has its original edge
- Comes with its custom genuine leather sheath (possibly made by Hart himself)
- Not a flashy knife, but one that's very well made, is razor sharp, and owned by a prominent actor of his time
ITEM 2 - Decorative Walnut Display Case
- Dimensions: 15.75" x 6.75" x 2.5" - perfect to proudly hold and display this knife
- Materials: Walnut, foam insert, brass locking mechanisms (no keys provided; case comes unlocked)
- Rear fixture (if you choose to hang it from your wall)
ITEM 3 - Beryl Hart Autograph
- Beryl Hart, actress and John's wife, attested to this knife being owned by her husband.
- This attest and her autograph are included on a yellow 3x5 card adjacent the Lone Ranger.
- Her statement reads: "This knife belonged to my husband, John Hart - Beryl Hart (signed)".
ITEM 4 - John Hart Autograph
- Also included is a used check signed by Mr. Hart.
- This hand-signed piece of memorabilia is rare in its own right, as there are not many of his original autographs circulating.
ITEM 5 - Certificate of Authenticity (COA)
- This certificate guarantees the winner of this auction is receiving 100% authentic memorabilia.
- All items came directly from the Hart's estate, and this is guaranteed by his agent, Mick Lefever.
- Features Lefever's first-hand account (reverse) and two signatures
- This merchandise was authenticated not only by the Hart family and their agent, but also by Heritage Auction company.
