This is a Lap easel, thumb box, for Pochade*
and/or Plein Air
painting. It will fit in your lap, your backpack, under the seat of your car, so get out and paint some of this beautiful color.

In this box, you can carry two wet 6 x 8 panels, 10-12 40ml tubes of paint, an assortment of short handle brushes, a pencil, a

Note; the SouthCo hinges do not tighten to 'locked', they are rated to a max of 35 in-lbf

This will be a wonderful, inexpensive, box if you have been thinking of taking up Plein Air Painting.  When, and if, you do upgrade to a larger professional box, this will always be the one you will use for Pochade
