Pochade Box "Wild"

Description

This is a pochade box I have designed after many years of pleinair painting. I have always loved the magnificent feeling of painting outdoors but at times it can be a little of a struggle to carry all the gear necessary for it. One of the most popular easels for plein air painting, is the french easel but to me it is an old fashion design. Today we have advances in certain technology like tripods, hinges and backpacks that give us room for a much more functional design and I think that's the reason we are seeing a lot more new pleinair easels designs in the market. "Wild", the pochade I have designed, is my easel for plein air and I have been enjoying the experience of painting outdoors like never before after I started using this easel
The things that make this easel unique are:
- the total size of this box is 17"x 14" x 3 1/8"
- The glass pallet has its own enclosed compartment design in a way to avoid paint getting in anything else and it's size is 16"x 12"
- It has a wet panel holder with the capacity of holding two panel 16" x 12"
- Storage for brushes and pallet knives
- This easel is capable of having all the previously mentioned compartment spaces and only has a total thickness of three and a half inches
- It is capable of holding a panel or canvas up to 20" in height
- I feel others manufactures wan to add too much on the pochade and the end resort it is a very heavy box that creates problems for the tripod head to hold so much weight, why no let the backpack do some work holding paint tubes, mediums, solvents, etc. Anyway you will need a backpack!
- The outside of this box is completely smooth with no sharp edges or metal parts that could cause damage to the backpack
-Made with Baltic birch wood, non-corrosive hardware, resistant to water and standard art solvents, crack proof, chip proof, non-yellowing.

Before you order
I make each pochade box by hand, from start to finish. That means they are not factory manufactured, I make them myself and I am responsible for every single detail because I want you to like this pochade box as much as I do
