Produced on a high clay content for archival concerns, (originals View-Master sleeves were, unfortunately, never archival).
These sleeves are an off-white in color with a large center hole for easy reading of reel titles.
The sleeves are essential today, for the preservation and protection of your valuable reels against dust. They make a practical substitute for those worn, tattered, written upon, or missing original sleeves.
Plain white envelopes were used by View-Master for their special reels

etc.
And today, many collectors store their new issue reels (from 3 reel sets on cards) in these individually protecting plain white envelopes.
