Mattel - Portland Christmas Greeting Card
w/ 3 reels of employees at their workstations
Produced by the View-Master factory 1n 1999, as a Christmas Greeting Card, containing specially produced reels of the factory and the workers.
1000 sets of the Mattel - Portland Christmas Card were produced to send to special customers, suppliers, and sister facilities to show everyone who the folks at the View-Master plant were and give them an idea to whom they were speaking or e-mailing, "putting the face with the name." The card was also a celebration, honoring the 60th anniversary of View-Master.
A few cards were never addressed nor sent out.  That is what is being offered here. The Christmas Greeting Card is in its original white mailing envelope. And inside the uniquely colorful cover is the paper sleeve with the foil "60th Anniversary  View-Master 1939-1999" logo/label.
The three reels are full color 3D images showing the View-Master employees at their work areas with photos of the reel machines, print shop equipment, plus the Gruber Memorial Park located in the center of the plant facility, plus an Arial view of the facility, and more.
On the left inside of the card are names and areas of responsibility of each employee pictured.
This treasure is one of the last looks at View-Master in America - Happy Holidays from Mattel Portland.
