    Sometimes they "miss" the hole so you will occasionally see a brace with an extra hole or defect around the hole.  I've pictured this so you can see what I mean.  But keep in mind that it affects nothing and once mounted nobody can see it.
    Each
    bracket
    is 6 3/8"long by 4 5/8" wide.  The width of the back brace is 7/8" at the top and then each side tapers down to 1/2".
