LASER HEAD APPEARS TO GET STUCK.
It is unknown why this happens, but the laser head when moving makes a loud "clacking" sound and tends to get stuck. This can simply cause the unit to stop playing (as seen in the video), and it can also prevent the head from returning home, preventing the unit from ejecting, etc. Laser power is OK so perhaps it is a cracked gear or motor in need of lubrication. This unit is a great candidate for repair.
