Description
A lot of five (5) different items related to the Southern Pacific Railroad. I am a longtime collector, but need to downsize my collection and will be selling several lots of different railroad items. Included in this SPRR lot are:1 - An SPRR train assignment ticket stub stamped December, 1944 (Wartime) for travel on Train #44 from Los Angeles to Trenton. It measures 4" x 3", is in very good to excellent condition.
2 - April, 1957 8 page condensed timetable of the SPRR Shasta Route trains. It is in fragile condition, intact but brittle. Would be good framed or kept in protective plastic sheet.
3 - Unused color postcard, circa 1940's showing an SPRR passenger train traversing Sacramento Canyon, the Shasta Route in California. Unused postally (requires 1 cent stamp)
4 - Unused color postcard, of the SPRR passenger train "Lark" observation car stopped at Glendale. CA in 1956. In good condition, unused postally.
5 - January, 1977 issue of "Trains" Magazine. Cover article and several pages cover SPRR and Santa Fe train action in the famous Tehachapi Pass. Magazine is in very good to excellent condition, fully intact and no mailing label.
See photos of all five items.
