The Old Field of Flowers is a large 158 page journal.  I love making books full of flowers.  So simple but so much a part of our lives every day.  I have such beautiful memories of my grandmother's flower garden.  She never designed her garden, but planted it as though it had grown wild.  Somehow it all fit.  Thinking back on that garden, I realize that she was my inspiration for junk journals.  I never realized this before but her garden was simply filled with all of the flowers, seeds and bulbs that she loved to collect . A big garden journal all her own. Good memories.  I have created this pretty junk journal with lovely faux water color, ribbon, decorative tissue and lace pages.  It is a very sweet, peaceful book full of a variety of different floral pages with lovely scripture scattered throughout.  I have included lots of tags, pockets and doilies. I wanted the cover to reflect a very feminine, pink, floral look.  I used a heavy, light color paper to accent the flowers.  This beautiful journal would compliment any book collection.  It would certainly compliment an assortment of coffee table or ottoman books for those who like to decorate with books.
All of my books are created in the old fashioned way with long raw threads.  I distress my books to give them

This book is 9 x 6 and has 158 pages counting each side.
I have crafted this book in such a way that your own pages may be easily added if you so desire.
As with most artists today, I use a variation of the Midori binding method.
I have incorporated numerous pockets, tags, envelopes, etc. throughout the beautifully inked journal pages.
There is plenty of room to journal your thoughts, hopes and dreams.
This is a book that can be passed down to future generations.

This method gives good stability to this lasting treasure.
