    Description

We are offering this THERMADOR Type 1 Lower Mid Oven Crossflow Fan
    14-38-515
00431492 from the lower unit of either a C, CM or SC generation Double Oven. They come from working ovens, that are tested overnight. It is tested for performance in the oven, including the sound of the bearings and then the Ohm meter to test wear of the motor. It needs to read between 12.0-14.5 for us to put it back into service.
Note: There are two main causes for the fan to stop working. Bad fan and/or bad relay. To determine the relay, check output voltage. To check the fan, check the ohm resistance and/or wire it up to household 120 AC.
There are 2 different types of this lower crossflow blower fan and they share the same part number, however have different configurations. This blower fan has the Air interlock Double fan switches on the bottom of the oven, at floor level.
Type 1. Has the extended 10" wires, that are a direct spade connect. It also has a 2-1/2" white fan blade for cooling the lower center channel, for the heater elements and sometimes the convection motor, if installed.
Type 2. Has the spade connectors, installed directly on the motor. If you have the long wiring. It will work or you may need to create 10" spade connector wire extensions.
Prior to purchasing, do your homework. Pull your part out and compare them. If it looks like yours and the part number matches, you have a winner! Do not interchange similar part numbers. There are so many factors, that need to match up. Dimensions, Features, Connectors, voltages, Mounting hardware, ETC...It won't work!
We are repairmen, who pick up used Appliances for our own parts. We completely test everything, both in the field and then bench tested, here at the shop. Only then, We add them to our own "Private Reserve" inventory for our repair service. When, we get too many of a certain item. we offer them here on EBay.
Of course, returns are accepted. However, if the item does not match the high resolution photos as shipped. EBay will be notified and the return will be denied.
