MOUNTING DETAILS: Drill a pilot hole into the wood window trim a little bit smaller diameter than the spike. Drill it 1-1 1/4” deep depending on how far you want the tie back to project from the window. When the spike is snugly in place by hand thread the brass button onto the spike, then stand back & admire the tiebacks!! These are designed to be nailed into wood trim, not into the wall!
