Vintage 15" Hand-forged Tanto, engraved blade, cord-wrapped handle & scabbard

Description

The knife in the pictures is the exact knife you will receive.
This is a Japanese-style tanto of unknown age and origin, with a matching wooden scabbard.  The blade is 9" long, and the handle is 6" long, for an overall length of 15".    It is hand-forged, and the blade has hand-engraved and/or stamped markings on both sides.  The handle and scabbard are cord-wrapped.   The knife alone weighs 5.2 ounces, and the scabbard 3.1 oz, for a combined 8.3 oz.
I have not attempted to remove the handle to check for markings on the tang.
