IT WAS PURCHASED WITH A LARGE COLLECTION OF VINTAGE KNIVES LEADING ME TO BELIEVE IT IS OLDER. IT INCLUDES A SMITH & WESSON LEATHER SHEATH/HOLSTER, THAT IF FITS PEREFECTLY INTO, BUT I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE THE KNIFE IS A SMITH AND WESSON. IT APPEARS TO BE HAND FORGED BUT I CAN'T BE CERTAIN. IT HAS A WOODEN HANDLE WITH A HIDDEN TANG AND 2 PIN CONSTRUCTION. THE BLADE HAS SOME GREEN MATERIAL ON IT FROM THE BRASS ON THE SHEATH AND SITTING FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. THE KNIFE IS STILL VERY SHARP AND THERE IS NO WIGGLE OR PLAY TO THE KNIFE. EVERYTHING IS STILL VERY TIGHT. BLADE MEASURES 5-5/8" LONG AND ENTIRE KNIFE MEASURES 10-3/8" LONG. COMES AS PICTURED.
