Vintage handmade Bowie/Fighting knife. I wish I could tell you this great story about this knife and its adventures in the civil war or how it belonged to Teddy Roosevelt etc etc. Unfortunately I cannot. I can tell you that the blade is 8 1/2 inches long and has microscopic pitting It has a handmade brass guard and a hand carved wood handle. It feels good and is well balanced I have found no markings.
