VINTAGE RIES JAPAN ANTHROPOMORPHIC YELLOW BIRD FIGURINE (BLUEBIRD?)

Description

This is an adorable vintage porcelain Momma bird figurine from Ries Japan.  Originally she had two babies and they were attached with a chatelaine.  This anthropomorphic bird figurine has bright, vivid colors and a high shine remains to the glaze.  Very nicely done "face" with big eyes and long lashes.  I don't know if she is a bluebird as her main color is yellow...although blue tail feathers and back.  She is 6" in height and 5" from tail to beak.  Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  There is some point wear on her tail feathers, otherwise perfect condition.
