    Description

    This is a very fine World War II U.S. 101st Airborne Division shoulder sleeve insignia with scarce white tongue and green back that is in excellent field used condition. It is a khaki cut edge type patch that Mark Bando classifies as a variation of the type 9 insignia. The patch is beautifully executed and completely without flaws of any type. The accompanying “Airborne” tab is unattached and does not have a green back. The patch has been carefully removed from either a khaki M42 jump jacket or Class “A” uniform and remains in excellent and undamaged condition.
