XTABR1356 XT Set of Strings for Acoustic Guitar, bronze 80/20, 13-56, Coated, D'Addario The XT series is the first D'Addario strings that combine a base made of a proprietary high-carbon steel alloy and strings without a braid made of steel wire with a super-thin protective coating on all the strings of the set. The strings have an extended service life, increased strength, stability of the structure, while maintaining the sensations and sound characteristic of your favorite strings without spraying. A super-thin layer of protective coating is applied to all six strings of the XT series. The layer is completely not felt when playing and does not change the usual tone of the strings. Extended service life of all strings in set! Protection against corrosion, dirt and moisture. The natural sensations and traditional sound are preserved thanks to the application of an ultra-thin protective layer made of a durable polymer. The base of the strings made of high-carbon steel provides increased strength and stable structure. Tests have shown that the XT series holds the formation by 131% better than ordinary strings! The stability of the formation and the speed of playing are also improved, thanks to our Fusion Twist technology( the original knot formula), which securely holds the mounting ball in the base of the string.
