    “Big Four” (logo) - Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago & St. Louis Railway, Cincinnati Northern Railroad Company and Evansville, Indianapolis & Terre Haute Railway Company annual pass dated 1930. Personally signed by H.S. Worcester, Vice President.

    This is one of a group of passes issued to J. M. (John Marcus) Davis (1871 - 1944) and family that I am listing today. Mr. Davis entered railroad service in 1888 as a freight brakeman on the San Antonio & Aransas Pass Railway and went up the ranks working for various railroads, finishing his career as President and then Chairman of the Board of the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad until his passing on March 21, 1944.
