photos, as they are an important part of my description. From a local estate, this great-looking blue, yellow and white vintage sign measures approximately
20 1/2" x 9 1/2
and most likely once hung in an auto parts store or gas station. The sign features classic
"Packard"
script lettering and says
"First Choice For Original Equipment and Replacement"
. Six of the original seven metal hooks for the battery cables are still present along the bottom edge of sign. The sign's maker was the Donaldson Art Sign Company (Cov., Kentucky; see photo close-ups). <>
History
: the Packard Automobile saw its last car produced on June 25, 1956. They ceased operations in 1958. I estimate the sign to be circa 1940's or 50's.

this outstanding vintage automobilia is in *Fine Shape* overall, showing light-moderate age/handling faults with strong colors....
